Concrete surface covers 80% of the river trough length. The river flow was moved west, closer to the mine tailing impoundments during the 60´s. Greater variability in depth and flow than the Lusatian Nisa river is typical for the Miedzianka (Oleška) river. The river flows into the Nisa river in the vicinity of the village of  Trzcińec.
